                       VI VISUALS: PHOTO TOURS

VI Visuals offers comprehensive, engaging, and unique photo tours around the City of Victoria on Vancouver Island. Led by professional photographer James MacDonald. We give you an insiders look at this beautiful city by the sea, and tour you through some of the best locations for stunning images.

We at VI Visuals are visitors and guests on Southern Vancouver Island, which is part of the traditional territories of the Lkwungen (Lekwungen) peoples. We acknowledge and thank the Lkwungen People, also known as the Songhees and Esquimalt First Nations, for allowing us to live, work, and play on their lands.

We currently run four photo tours. Views, Chinatown, Downtown, and Sunrise

VIEWS: We climb all the hills, find all the vantage points, and get some incredible images in the process. Victoria has lots of little peaks, climbs, and viewpoints that offer some of the best views of the city, the Olympic Mountains, the Strait of Juan De Fuca, and Mt. Baker.

CHINATOWN: On this tour we dive into the oldest Chinatown in Canada, and the second oldest in North America. We explore the odd corners, alleyways, and old shops of this wonderfully unique and vibrant part of Victoria.

DOWNTOWN: Downtown is big, beautiful, and full of fantastic photo opportunities. We make a plan and prepare to deviate from it as we wander the streets, waterfront, and historic corners of downtown Victoria.

SUNRISE: Dawn breaks over the Salish Sea and the Olympic Mountains to the east of the city. We get up early, find a prime location, and wait for the midnight blues to turn to the gold and oranges of a Vancouver Island sunrise.
